Would you like to become part of a professional and friendly Front Office team? An enthusiastic and professional Receptionist is required for The Rubens at the Palace Hotel, a beautiful 4 star deluxe property situated on Buckingham Palace Road close to Victoria Station. The property has 143 deluxe guest rooms, 8 royal rooms and 10 luxurious suites.

We are looking for a passionate and confident Receptionist who can deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. You should have a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills and an approachable and friendly personality.

Key responsibilities of the Receptionist will include:

  • Checking guests in and out according to the law and hotel standards
  • Compiling guests accounts and fulfilling administrative duties
  • Handling reservation enquiries
  • Acknowledging regular guests and VIP’s and their requirements
  • Reconciling banking at the end of each shift 
  • Ensuring that the reception area is clean and tidy at all times

The ideal candidate for the Receptionist position should:

  • Have previous experience as Receptionist within a 4 or 5 star hotel
  • Have excellent telephone manner
  • Be an excellent team player
  • Have a friendly and bubbly personality 
  • Be eligible to work within the UK on a full time basis
