Category: Music & Theatre Date: Saturday, 27 October 2012 Luxury London hotel guests will be able to watch a live performance by tongue-in-cheek retro act Richard Cheese & Lounge Against the Machine at Cadogan Hall this October. The show will take place on October 27th 2012 and will provide an excellent showcase of the idiosyncratic band's unique musical approach, which takes contemporary songs and performs them in a lounge/swing style. Attendees will be able to appreciated Cheese and co's authentic recreation of the performing style of the era, as well as the off-kilter humour inherent in hearing modern pop and rap songs sung in the manner of Frank Sinatra. Tickets for the show cost between £30 and £45, with doors opening at 19:00 BST ahead of a 20:00 start. For a musical experience of a different sort, guests at The Rubens at the Palace Hotel can book the Billy Elliot the Musical package, which provides two tickets to one of the West End's most acclaimed shows. It also includes a pre-theatre dinner, a signed programme and a themed turndown, plus a glass of chilled Champagne on arrival.
