Raven Girl at the Royal Opera House

Royal Ballet resident choreographer Wayne McGregor is teaming with acclaimed author Audrey Niffenegger to bring a new production called Raven Girl to the Royal Opera House stage.

Featuring groundbreaking and imaginative choreography, the show tells the story of an unlikely love between a man and a raven and the eponymous child they raise, who feels like a bird trapped in a human's body.

This fairytale-like story of transformation comes from the fertile imagination of visual artist and writer Niffenegger, who is most famous for her best-selling novel The Time Traveller's Wife.

Raven Girl is being performed from May 24th to June 8th as part of a mixed programme that also includes Symphony in C, a neoclassical masterpiece by Balanchine.
