Opera aficionados will be able to learn more about the art form during Cadogan Hall's The Triumph of German Opera lecture series, which will be taking place this May.

These performance-based lectures will feature singers' insights illustrated with live vocal demonstrations and well-known recordings, allowing attendees to get a real insider's look at the development of German opera.

Lasting for two hours each, the talks can be enjoyed by experts and beginners alike, as each class promises to be informative, interactive and entertaining for all.

People staying at The Rubens at the Palace Hotel this May who are thinking of attending one of these talks could consider booking a Buckingham Palace Weekends package for their visit.

This deal provides a bottle of Champagne on arrival at the luxury London hotel before guests are ushered to their sumptuously-appointed room or suite.
