London Art Fair: Worth staying in town for

  • Category: Art & Culture
  • Dates: Wednesday, 15 January 2014 to Sunday, 19 January 2014

The London Art Fair will be coming to the capital in January and, as the largest event of its kind in the UK, it's worth taking some time out to explore it.

From January 15th until the 19th, the hanger-like interior of the Business Design Centre will be filled with hundreds of stalls selling everything from contemporary designs to 20th century Asian creations.

The festival specialises primarily in high-end decorations and artworks, with pieces comprising photography, sculpture, painting and ceramic mediums.

Among the highlights this year, a presentation from Japanese avant-garde group GUTAI is likely to be particularly impressive.

Tickets cost £17 on the day, but it is worth purchasing the £30 six-day pass if you really want to explore the UK's biggest art fair.

You can also save money by opting for the 3 Nights for 2 In Suites offer or One Free Night In All Rooms package when booking at The Rubens at the Palace, although you can be sure of still receiving the same fantastic level of care and service during your stay.
