On March 2nd 2013, Cadogan Hall will be the venue for a classical concert by the critically acclaimed Imperial College Symphony Orchestra.

Regarded as one of the most accomplished university orchestras in the UK, the musical ensemble will be joined by the Imperial College Choir and the Thomas Hardye Singers in performances of some classical standards.

A rendition of Vltava by Smetana will be followed by Dvorak's Cello Concerto and Rachmaninov's choral symphony The Bells, which was regarded by the composer as his finest ever work.

Laura van der Heijden will play cello and Richard Dickins acts as conductor for the concert, which takes place at 19:30 GMT.

Lovers of live music can get a different sort of cultural experience by booking the Billy Elliot the Musical package at The Rubens at the Palace Hotel, which includes two stalls tickets to one of the West End's most popular shows, plus a pre-theatre dinner at the luxury London hotel, a signed programme and more.
