Category: Art & Culture Date: Monday, 01 January 0001 Following the birth of the royal baby this summer, there's been a huge uptick in interest concerning the monarchy. Of course, there's no better place to visit than London if you're a royalist, with Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and Clarence House just some of the many properties you can visit. And this September, Westminster Abbey - itself associated with many royal occasions - is hosting an exhibition called 'Coronation!', which takes a behind-the-scenes look at the events of 1953. It features more than 40 photographs showing the preparations, service and celebrations. Aside from the entry fees to the Abbey, the exhibition itself is free and runs until September 27th. There's also no better place within London to stay for this event than the luxury Rubens at the Palace hotel situated on Buckingham Palace Road. Its 'Live Like Royalty' package includes two tickets to the Queen's Gallery and Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace.
