Red Carnation Hotels have an exciting opportunity for Sales Manager to join their team. The focus of this role will be to introduce our three stunning properties in South Africa, to new and existing Leisure and MICE business in the UK and Europe.

As Sales Manager you will be self confident with the ability to engage and make a positive impact. The role of Sales Manager will involve making regular Sales Calls to Leisure Tour Operators, independent, luxury travel agent specialists and Incentive Houses to maintain and build on existing relationships with Key Outbound/Inbound agents to & into South Africa and develop relationships with new and emerging entrants.

Using your excellent presentation skills you will undertake sales trips to France, Benelux and Italy.You will host dinners, road shows and promotions with key operators. The job requires strong initiative and self-direction which you will use to develop new opportunities with Tourist Offices and with Airline Carriers from UK, France and Italy.

Requirements for the role include:

·Experience in the travel or hospitality industry in South Africa

·Experience in the UK selling to the trade, preferably with a focus on Leisure and/or C & I in the UK and Europe

·Must have existing solid relationships with key operatorsand /or the C & I Segment in the UK and Europe

·Knowledge of Reservations Systems and Customer Relationship Management Systems

·Good Financial understanding

·Excellent writing skills

·Highly presentable

·Drivers Licence

The three properties in South Africa are:

The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, a 5star boutique property, with 55 deluxe guest rooms and 15 luxurious suites, located in Cape Town.

Bushmans Kloof - Wilderness Reserve & Welness Retreat - Western Cape

The Oyster Box Hotel 86 different types of luxurious rooms, suite and villa, Umhlanga, Durban.
