Pastry Chef de Partie

Located in the heart of the Dorset countryside, near Dorchester, Summer Lodge is set in four acres of perfectly maintained gardens. This luxurious 24 bedroom Relais & Châteaux property has swiftly earned a reputation as one of England’s finest country house hotels. As a member of Relais and Chateaux it accommodates a wonderful three AA Rosette restaurant, where diners are assured of a gastronomic delight.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our passionate team to work alongside other Pastry Chefs and the kitchen team to assist in the running of the pastry section.

As the Pastry Chef de Partie you will be responsible for:
- Day to day running of the pastry section with the other Chef de Parties
- Helping on the day to day running of the kitchen
- Working on dessert menu development
- Assisting with the ordering and controlling of stock

The ideal candidate for the Pastry Chef de Partie position will have previous experience in a similar role and be passionate for providing first class food to our guests. Experience in a fine dining to three Rosette or Michelin star restaurant is desirable but not essential. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and hard working person with excellent communication skills.
