THE CAVALRY BAR & PALACE LOUNGE

The newly refurbished Cavalry bar offers a comforting and convivial atmosphere in which to socialise with friends, family and colleagues. With a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits including Joseph Perrier Champagne served by the glass, or a warming Inverarity ten year old single malt whisky (bottled especially for The Rubens in Speyside, Scotland).

Interesting military artefacts are dotted aroung the bar area, marking key historical periods throughout the British Empire.  In the evenings, a pianist provides soothing background music, helping guests relax and uwind in friendly surroundings.

The Palace Lounge follows through from the bar and is a magnificent  bright open space with panoramic views of The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace, the Queen's stables.   This is a great vantage point from which to spot the passing pageantry, a daily occurance being so close to the palace! Guests love to enjoy an afternoon tea and watch the world go by, or at night a liquer in one of the cosy armchairs. 

Take a look at our afternoon tea served between 2.30pm and 5.00pm every day and 1.00pm until 5.30pm on weekends.  Afternoon Tea is priced at £22.50 per person.
