La Cage Aux Folles at the Playhouse Theatre, Westminster

Douglas Hodge and Denis Lawson will take the lead roles in the comic musical La Cage Aux Folles as the production touches down in London next month.

Focusing on the lives of La Cage Aux Folles cabaret club owner Georges, and his number one drag artiste and lover Albin, the story follows how the pair are forced to disguise their lifestyle when Georges son announces his engagement to the daughter of a right-wing politician.

In true family style, the future in-laws arrange a visit to their new extended relatives meaning Georges and co must hide who they are, the question is, can they do it?

With a night of comedy and music secured, visitors will need somewhere to stay and a suite at the luxury London hotel the Rubens at the Palace could be the answer to their prayers.

The establishment's Its Showtime package will offer guests a full-English breakfast, a pre-theatre dinner as well as two tickets to a theatre of choice.
