In From The Cold at Royal Festival Hall

Festive fun for all the family will be in plentiful supply in the capital this winter as mum, dad and the kids are invited to come In From The Cold and take part in a series of enjoyable activities during the build up to Christmas.

Visitors can enter the Igloo Cinema, which is an inflatable screening room in the shape of a melting igloo, as well as the Arctic Recording Station, where they can star in their own 15-second silent film.

Other highlights include the Chico Chavas project, who will bring the latest sounds of Brazilian jazz and Latin music to warm the winter air, a performance from the Guildford Cathedral Choir, as well as a show from the Esterhazy Singers.

There is plenty to keep the young ones entertained, including the Baby Loves Disco evening, where groovy tots can head to the dance floor and make mum and dad proud with their moves.

After shaking their feet at the disco the children will need somewhere warm and comfortable to sleep and those on family breaks can find all they need at the luxury London hotel the Rubens at the Palace.

The Family Fun package provides the little ones with the chance to help prepare a meal for their parents, fluffy bathrobes and slippers, a packed lunch to make sure they do not get hungry and a special menu.
