Event: Amazonia
Date: November 27th until January 23rd
A show for all the family will be running in London this winter to bring some Brazilian warmth to the chilly Christmas air.
The Young Vic Theatre will host Amazonia, a fantastic story set in the natural wonder that is the rainforest.
For the people of Todos Os Santos, life is changing and their beloved habitat is under threat from outside influences.
The forest can feel the danger and trembles at the unfortunate fate that awaits it.
Can the villagers save the day and preserve the luscious majesty of their world.
The story is inspired by Chico Mendes, the Brazilian environmental activist who campaigned tirelessly for the importance and beauty of the Amazon to be recognised, accepted and protected.
A British and Brazilian cast will deliver this heart-warming story through various dances, giving audiences a spectacle they will not forget.
With the show suitable for those aged seven and over, it could provide a great opportunity for a family break.
Mum and dad can ensure the kids have a great experience afterwards by booking a suite at the luxury London hotel the Rubens at the Palace.
The Family Fun package has plenty of treats in store for the youngsters, including fluffy bathrobes and slippers, a special menu, a tour of the establishment and a packed lunch.
