Event: The Polar Express 3D
Date: December 6th until January 1st
Most children wait for the sound of Santa's "ho-ho-ho" and the unmistakable ringing of jingle bells on Christmas Eve, but youngsters in London can expect something entirely different this year.
For it will not be Santa taking them on a magical journey over the festive period but a train, which will take them on a trip to the North Pole providing thrilling excitement and yuletide cheer.
The Polar Express is the tale of a small boy who lies in bed on Christmas Eve desperately awaiting the arrival of Father Christmas.
Listening intently, unable to sleep, the young man hears a sound and believes his dream is about to come true.
To his amazement, it is not the fat man in the red suit outside his bedroom window but a black train, with a conductor beckoning the inquisitive child to come outside.
As the boy reaches the locomotive, the conductor tells him to get on board.
He asks "Where to?"
"To the North Pole," replies the driver
What follows is an epic journey through the night sky, taking the youngster on a journey of self-discovery, showing him how keeping faith can ensure the wonder of life never goes away, all delivered in a 3D format.
The picture is ideal for those looking to go on a family break and after the show, mums and dads can ensure their children do not go on any midnight adventures by staying in a suite at the luxury London hotel the Rubens at the Palace.
Children love staying in hotels and by choosing the Family Fun package, they can enjoy fluffy bathrobes and slippers, a packed lunch each day, a welcome pack with games and a special menu just for them.
