The County Hall Gallery will display two pieces of art with a difference next year, with Nasser Azam's Homage to Francis Bacon pieces being made available for the public to see.

What makes the Triptych I and II special is the groundbreaking way in which the artist created the pictures.

The pieces are part of Mr Azam's pioneering Life In Space project and were painted while he was suspended in zero gravity in the skies above the Russian capital of Moscow.

Such is the stir created by these pictures that one collector recently paid $332,000 (£223,000) for Triptych I in an auction in New York.

However, before it makes its way to its new owner, art enthusiasts from across the globe can travel to the capital and see for themselves a groundbreaking piece of work.
