The Cat Who Ran at the Unicorn Theatre for Children

For those who have not been away for a while, a weekend's stay at the luxury London hotel the Rubens at the Palace could be just what the doctor ordered, providing some welcome respite from the stress and strain of working life and offering a good opportunity for the whole family to enjoy some time together.

While in the capital, mum and dad can take their young ones to one of the many child-friendly shows that the city is famous for.

One such production which the kids will enjoy is The Cat Who Ran, a tale of a feline who is forced to choose between following his instincts or remaining true to a friend who was there when times were bad.

Ran is the smallest kitten of the litter, the weakest member of the bunch whose pouncing, hiding and jumping skills fail to match those of his stronger brothers and sisters.

Undeterred, he perseveres and tries to improve his abilities.

While doing so, he forms an unlikely friendship with a fish and the pair become very close.

However, their relationship is put to the ultimate test when Ran and his siblings are asked to test their skills by catching the fish and eating him.

Our feline friend must decide whether to remain faithful to his buddy or follow his natural instincts and eat him.

The story will have the children gripped and after they have enjoyed the show, the whole family can head back to their suite at the Rubens and take advantage of the perks offered by the Family Fun package.
