The Greenwich Beer and Jazz Festival is the perfect pint-sized summer event for those who want to enjoy a relaxing and groovy few days of music, alcohol and sunshine.

Bringing the blues will be the British keys-led funk masters the James Taylor Quartet along with the legendary Courtney Pine, who will transform the lazy lawns of the Old Royal Navy College into a jazz paradise.

As well as live stage performances from the great and the good of the British jazz scene, there will be a host of beers, real ales and more to whet the whistles of all those who attend.

The Real Ale Garden and Cider Orchard will be home to a wonderful array of tipples, while there will also be a special bottled beer and summer cocktail session at the Bar Carnival.

An intoxicating mix of summer sounds will travel through the capital air, with the likes of Los Albertos, Jandira Silva and TJ Johnson taking over the city with their smooth grooves.

After an evening of funk, jazz and soul, visitors will need somewhere to put their feet up and the luxury London hotel Rubens at the Palace is the place to do it.
