Brit Insurance Designs of the Year at the Design Museum

In their short history, the Brit Insurance Design Awards have brought innovative and forward-thinking pieces of design from some of the world's most creative minds to the capital for art fans to enjoy.

This year will be no exception, with a panel of judges casting their critical eye on more than 100 works from the fields of architecture, graphics, fashion and more.

Last year's winner was Shepard Fairey's unofficial Barack Obama poster campaign, which highlighted the power clever design possesses and its ability to reach mass audiences.

Many of the designs going on display at this year's awards will be shown in public for the first time, making it an even more exciting prospect for couples planning a stay at the luxury London hotel in February.
